The 5 Jesters and the Missing Boy

The first half of this one just really confuses me honestly, but I think I get what they're trying to recollect. Lets see what you think.
I was with my friend Terrance, the day before april 4th in a hotel in palma mallorca, he was a great friend, always wears a red shirt and blue pants & is with his glasses, though sometimes would space out for a few minutes which got me worried.
The hotel was nice not gonna lie, however the next day that is april 4th, something strange happened...
First my friend went missing and then the jesters came, they all wear colorful outfits and porcelain masks like they belong to a masquerade, the masks themselves are very jester-like to be specific hence that's why I refer to them as such, their outfits were all color coded in brown, purple, gray, cyan/light green and red.
I should have mentioned that there was no one in the hotel at the time and fog was enshrouding the entire building, the jesters themselves would do nothing but stare at me with their eyes that are obscured behind their masks, then the fog consumes them. Then it disappears and the jesters are gone mysteriously.
I always thought to myself that I was hallucinating to myself at the time but what happened the following week would make my experience hard to forget.
The beach goers found something gruesome washed up in the beaches, so I drove to see it out of curiosity. I believe it was Terrance, i can recognize his clothing but it wasn't him anymore, his body was twisted beyond recognition to the point it no longer resembles human and his colors were swapped with others than the natural skin colours. Limbs were contorted and his face was all mangled & distorted, his skin look like rubber. I almost vomited. The news never mentioned it long ago after that but few people do remember.
It was horrifying seeing my friend like this but I can't blame him, back in his earlier days he was a depressed boy, he hated his self so much he wished to become something else entirely, that phase itself disappeared long ago when we talked about it. It's so surprising that I couldn't call it a coincedence.
Could it be that whatever supernatural force somehow made his former wish come true in the most gruesome way possible? How much pain has he endured throughout that time while he was away? I cannot imagine the latter....
But then again, who are the 5 jesters? What involvement do they have with my friend's granted death?
