charles lee ray, or chucky for short (b.janurary 24,1950d-d.november 9, 1988(1)) is a fcitional character from the Childs play series of horror films, created by Don Mancini. he is the primary villian featured in the sesries. chucky is a doll that was possesssed by means of voodoo dolls by serial killer charles lee ray. the notorious Lakeshore Stranlgler. during most of his time a sa doll chucky chased after a boy named andy barclay becayse andy was the first person he told his real name to as a doll. brad dourif has vooiced the character in all of the films (he also appears a the begnning of the first film in subsequent flash backs.
